Time And Tide

Once upon a time and tide,
I rent apart the veil of sky,
To see what behind does hide,
Of the darkness in the eye.

I tore into the black of night,
To tempt the flame of fate,
I am away from the light,
I am, and shall be, insatiate.

For darkness in my heart and mind,
And fire in my blood does sing,
Of a calm and peaceful wind,
And at last a new awakening.
