The Road To Newhere
Sitting alone in a grassy vale,
Surrounded by a wailing gale,
I see the expanding sun,
All around there is no one.
And I think what I should do
Which way for me is true?
As I think I get suffused
In misgiving and get confused.
Perhaps some day ever-present Fate
For me shall open a new gate
And there I shall find a new road
Yet unseen and yet untrod.
And that road may lead me to
A distant land unheard yet true
Someplace where roads never end
Where new paths await every bend.
Where lyre like does sound the rain
The light on eyes is not a strain
A place where barriers do not bind
They may be broken by the wind.
Can such a place we ever get
Where the sun may but hopes don’t set?
A Newhere where dreams do come true
Where grief maybe but happiness too?
